Crate engines
I'm looking for a engine solutions. I don't have 12k ++ to do it. I want a engine with 450+ horse for around 5-6k. I've heard about this 383 stoker solution? Anyone have input?

Re: Crate engines
I'm looking at doing the same. Summitracing.com is a great shopping place. Edelbrock
And blueprint look really good for the 383stroker.

Re: Crate engines
You were in the right place in the other thread where you asked the same question. My answer: Know the reputation of who you're buying from, if the deal sounds too cheap it probably is, and check the warranty. If the warranty states having to ship the engine somewhere for work, if needed, you will probably be paying shipping both ways. I personally went with a GM performance engine. If I need warranty work I can take it to the nearest GM dealer for work. 383 stokers are great, though. Good luck in your decision.
