Wisdom for Drums to Disc Swappers:

I found this "Bracket" which is needed to switch front brake drums to disc on most old school C10's with original drum brakes: ((original brake drums on C10's have bolts sticking out of the firewall to conect the master cyclinder to, which comes into problems when attaching a new or old booster which has bolts sticking out of it)) So Bracket is needed:
Note: I tried summit racing bracket for this problem= NO GO. :-\

Anwser: I believe I pulled this bracket off of a 71 or 72 GMC (again GMC) [junk yard owner didn't say what year truck I pulled the bracket off of, but I believe GMC put disc on since 1970=bracket]

After pulling this bracket it fit PERFECT to my 69 C10 fire wall bolts. No fabricating at all! Unscrew=Screw in! That easy!
Make sure your getting the hole bracket/rod and all. Because the rod on the back of the brake pedal under your dash unscrews which goes through the firewall and the new bracket rod screws in! Real simple if you got the original parts on the bracket.

Hopefully my pictures will explain it better.

Back of the Brake Booster you see the gold rod sticking up with the loop on the end of it: The connects to top side of the bracket.

Re: Wisdom for Drums to Disc Swappers:

Above the rode has a nut and threads on it: well the rod screws into the female little bracket attached to your brake pedal under the dash. The nut is not NEEDED in this swap, it was placed apprently by accident from the owner hoping the rod wouldn't un-thread itself from the brake pedal bracket. Well it won't be able to, one end of the rod is connect to the bracket not by threads.

You have just constructed a stock OEM 67-72 1/2T PB system. You could just go take on off of any stock truck.
