1968 chevy k10 4in lift

I want to add a 4in lift to my original 68 swb annivesary gold 4x4. Will I need to lengthen drive the front or rear drive shaft? I want to do the 68-72 4in front and rear leaf springs with new shocks. What's the best riding lift kit these days? Ay help would be great.

Re: 1968 chevy k10 4in lift

I put a SkyJacker 4 inch soft ride kit with new front and rear springs in my 69 and did not have to make any changes to either drive shaft. You will want to get a drop pitman arm though. I highly recomend the kit I just mentioned. My truck is a short box, so I'm not sure if there are any differences if you have a long box, but I doubt there would be.
