im on the hunt for a lwb stepside bed

i have a 70 longbed fleetside but i just saw a lb stepside truck and i love it! any ideas where to start looking for a bed? im in the ny/nj area

I would just search craigslist. Start in your local area then expand the search. I just did a quick search and found a complete long stepside parts truck--complete--in Olathe, ks.--(1200)---then theres the expense of shipping it.
I travel a lot, and Ive noticed several long steps sitting around--mostly in the midwest though.

there is one on craigslist in the hampton roads area in Va, i think it is listed under "chevy trucks" in the auto section, the only problem is the guys thinks it is gold and diamonds and he is asking 7K or trade for a vet for it , i think it is worth about 2 to 2500 on a good day

I'd love to find one, too. Unfortunately, they are kinda rare. Might have to buy a whole 'nother truck to get the bed.
