1968 grille color question
Hey guys, I'm restoring a 68 shortbox k10 and need expert advise on grille color. The truck is original 505 green. No trim standard plane jane. The truck doesn't have and never did have trim on the front, of front fenders. I've sanded down paint and found fronts were green, but the grille looks to be silver?
Can the truck have a silver grille, silver headlight trim but fenders fronts, body color? I hope that makes since. Any pics of trucks like this? Trying to restore truck to 100% factory Thanks!! Matt

Re: 1968 grille color question
Some trucks also came with white grilles. My '68 Custom came white from the factory (the paint code is actually Ivory) as did the top. I also had a med red 'original paint '68 that was not a Custom or CST that a white grill also. I prefer the white frontend myself.
