Motorcycle to go with C10
Hi guys I'm restoring a 1970 C10 to look like a black 1967 C10, anyone have a idea of what motorcycle looks good with a 67 C10?

Vincent "Black Shadow" is the first thing that comes to mind. Hey it is only money and you can't take it with you.

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
70s Harley Davidson to keep the made in America theme going.
But my choice is a BMW Airhead motorcycle from the 70s. I have quite a few of them and they seem to go with the well engineered theme of our GM trucks. |

A Harley. Those and German Shepards are usually seen in the back of pickup trucks.

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
Not mine but sharing space with my truck while its being restored 73 moto guzzi v7 sport. 1 owner parked for 20 years, I had it running after the first week.
I want to keep it because its so symmetrical, mechanical and charming, not to mention a pretty fast bike during its time.

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
I would look for a 67 or a 70 model so they both match.

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
I've actually considered building a custom mini "chopper" with a v-twin Kohler or Briggs engine to match my truck. I quickly abandoned that idea, though, as I'd rather put the money into the truck itself.
I would say any 50-60's era bike or a custom chopper would be cool.

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
All good ideas, I think that most of the old Harley's have been done up to somebody's own taste, I think a 70's Honda or BMW will work

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
This is what I am currently in the middle of building:
A '80 Yamaha xs650 brat. Actually the main reason I bought the truck, was to haul this thing around over the winter to get it ready for next spring Ryan |

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
That's the reason I'm looking for a long bed. So I can go to swap meets and pick up old bikes and parts.
At the moment I have a 1975 Honda CB750 that I'm making into a Cafe Bike. |

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
Anything from the era will look right. You should just get whatever motorcycle you want to ride when it's not displayed in the back of the truck. I'm a stickler for era-correct because 67-72 was the greatest era in my opinion At least, for an era I went through. I don't put my Harley in the bed of my K2500,but am very proud to display the era-correct elongated Harley Bar & Shield sticker on my back window (with sun-fade patina)

Powell72 while I'm a big panshovel fan, weight wise I'd go with a Hummer, you could shut the gate and load it by yourself.

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
If it were me and since my Street Glide is a little to large to put in back of a truck i would go with this a 1978 Harley Davidson MX250.

Re: Motorcycle to go with C10
I have a 73 CZ250 Mx I found in a shed that had been in there since the late seventies all original down to the tires. Cant wait to cruise with it to the shows every once and a while. Btw I always ride with a helmet.
