Help identifying my transmission!?
Hey guys, I have a 1972 C10 Stepside with an inline 250. I pulled the engine today because it has a hole in the block and i have a SB 350 to put in. I would like to try to sell the transmission for extra cash but i have no idea what it is. The previous owner took it from a 3 on the tree to 3 on the floor manual. so basically it has gears 1,2,3,R any tips on part numbers and what not?

Re: Help identifying my transmission!?
It is probably the stock 1972 3 spd trans (saganaw?). Not worth a whole lot. What do you plan on putting in its place? Everything from the 250 will/should bolt up to the 350.
