1971 Chevy C10 LWB

Decided to start a thread to show progress. It's going to be my daily driver and I'll fix/restore when I can.

My big green 1971 longbox c10. Small block 350/350 trans, no AC. Normal rust in the rockers, floor and bottom of the doors. Bought it not to long ago for $1500. So far I've changed the battery, oil, spark plugs and put on a saddlebag seat cover. A lot of plans for this truck. I need to fix the driver window(won't go up and down) and the passenger door won't open(handles don't work and the door panels screws are stripped).

After a bunch of title problems I finally have the truck in my name. I also registered those 1971 tags because they match the patina of the truck well. It's official my daily driver and because of that the cherrybomb glasspacks need to go. They don't sound great, I'll swap in some mufflers(don't know which ones yet).

Need to figure this carb out. The choke isn't hooked up and I don't see how it does, I might be missing parts. I'm a newbie to this

Hooked up a temp gauge since my stock quit working. It's reading at 130 warmed up, I need to check that.

My fathers friend gave us a bunch of parts from a 70's corvette. I'm cleaning up the carb I got and I need to see if the corvette radio fits. It looks brand new so I hope it does.
