Stepside bed differences between 72 and 73

What are the diffrences between a 67~72 c10 stepside bed and the 1973 onwards bed? Will a 73 stepside shortbed bolt up to my 72???

it should bolt up but there are differnces
the side steps are differnt as is where they mount too the bedsides
witch means the bedsides them selves are differnt
differnt fenders and mounting holes for the fenders.
differnt tail lights although they should plug in too your harness.

The tail lights will be the same between 72 and 73. The early "square body" stepsides still used the same ones for the first few years until they went to the boat trailer type of lights.
