Question Should I raise my 71 back up?

Been thinking about raising my 71 back up. I havent seen it at stock heighth since I put these wheels and tires on and think it would look cool. Anyone close to me have a set of stock springs and u-bolts?

Looks nice just like that.

What kind of drop did you do? How much is it lowered? And how's the ride quality? Thanks

I tend to prefer mostly Stock (go figure!), but I also appreciate a few mild tweaks. If your country is flat enough to run lowered without problems, and if you like the ride & the appearance, leave it. It looks great!

I like stock or near stock height. But that's me. Course i drive places where being low won't go.

If you want to see sparks, disconnect your exhaust hangers. If you want it in the weeds, park it in a field.

Seriously, I never understood the logic behind spending time, effort, and $$$ to make your truck look nice and then scaping the hell out of the undercarriage and lower body/bumpers

Since you asked, my opinion would have been not to alter the stock appearance/ride height in the first place. But......

Since you've already gone to the trouble AND it does look nice as it sits, I'd leave it alone, unless there is another driving force to your question, like ride and handling characteristics.

I voted keep it low, shocker huh?

when you see a lowered truck throwing sparks, 99% of the time its "titanium drag blocks" making those showers of sparks ... not the undercarriage or the body/bumpers ...

Admittedly my only frame of reference but not at Carlisle Truck show with all those kids in lowered Yotas going over the speed bumps and uneven pavement. 99% of the time it's sheetmetal.

Yes they are intoxicated and yes it's daddy's money

So I stand by my original observation/comment:
