juckyard find successful
I went to the junk yard today to pick up the disc brake parts I needed for my 68. Since I'm always looking for "stuff" I look in a truck they have on the forklift to crush and what do I see, a clutch pedal cover for the firewall. And its the same color as my truck!!! Ive been looking for one for a year.
Why does no one make these? They could make a ton. |

They are reproduced. GMC Paul sells them for 5 bucks. Made in USA by original manufacturer for GM.

My son needs one of those also, looked it up at gmc pauls and yes he has them for 5.00 bucks. You will just have to pay a lot for shipping of this small part.(9.00) Guess we will just keep on looking.

Re: juckyard find successful
I guess I ought to get a template of an original one and cut out a bunch with the plasma cutter. Then sell them to guys on here cheap and charge like 1.00 shipping.
I could probably do them for 5 bucks total delivered. Mine wouldn't have the rubber gasket though.

Re: juckyard find successful
My son was thinking about cutting one out and just welding it in... Guess that would work?
