This Jeep builder sure has figured our trucks out! Attn. 1 ton fans...

I stumbled across this company while doing an image search for some 1 ton 4x4's. This guy builds them exactly how I like them, basically restored, but with a little lift and some wheels and tires. Here's a link to their site, and a couple of examples.

Really? I troll this site a lot and don't recall seeing them. I mainly look at the "how about some _________ pics" threads though.

I believe the ones I have seen from this company are usually links from Ebay. They always have the truck sitting in the same place setting.

I bought my truck from them, great guy, and they do very nice work. This is the first truck I have ever bought that was already done, but I sure like it. Factory 1 ton single wheels are so hard to find, but these guys sure find them

And yes, they keep them as stock as they can with just a lift and wheels and tires. My truck is 100% bone stock in and out, even still has the original factory dual exhaust with GM mufflers. Just the lift, wheels and tires and non factory.

To me, I would pay what they're asking for those trucks. They are basically new trucks. How does it drive?

Joesjunk, I have seen the pictures of your truck on here before, and saw the grey crew on ebay a while back. I didn't realize they were all being done by a resto company. Your truck has, in my opinion the perfect stance, and is absolutely stunning. I am very glad there are people like yourself out there and companies like this that still see the value in building/owing these old girls. You just can't buy trucks like these any more!

I have 285/70 R17s on H2 rims on one of my crews at stock height with no tire rubbing. It has mud flaps but no running boards which would take up a little extra space.

You will have 0 issues with your planed 285 setup and a 2".

Beautiful trucks! I had dreams of my project turning out like this when I started. I had a 1 ton M1008 and a clean 1/2 ton long bed and planned to combine the two trucks. However, I bought a third truck that was a 1/2 ton short bed and my project morphed into restoring the short bed.

I looked at some more of the trucks on their site. If I had to do it all over again I would be tempted to buy from these guys. I probably have same money in my truck, plus 4 years of working on it.
