i had 1 of that dtyle posi in my blown big block truck ,1st burnout contest a bunch of those posi parts made an exit out of the rear cover i think it was out of a d 70's van .i put in the earlier unit with the older style clutches and no more problems frank

'71-'72 would not have a Gov-loc from the factory.

that is a 73 and up truck 12 bolt with a Gov-lock.
