Rear air bags for towing a trailer
I own a Chevy 1/2 ton crewcab Silverado Z71 and am looking for a rear air bag setup to use when towing my 20' car trailer. I'm installing a toolbox on the tongue of the trailer for straps and such, but the box will also house a 9500# winch, which weighs @95#'s. Then figure in the weight of a battery to operate the winch. So I'm looking for an all-in-one kit (i.e. bags, compressor & such) that will get my truck back to level ride height when I'm towing my trailer.
Any suggestions?

What year is your Silverado? We offer both the AirLift and Firestone load leveling kits.

Re: Rear air bags for towing a trailer
You can go with the Airlift for $245 shipped. This will come with everything needed, and have schrader valves to mount, in order to fill the bags.

Re: Rear air bags for towing a trailer
we offer the airlift complete package at a great price along with on board air control systems, ridetech also offers there Toe Pro but its not for the faint of heart packing a 1500.00 price tag retail but if interested I can PM you special forum pricing... If you are looking for a cost effective kit that will work great I'd go with the Airlift components. which I have used on personal vehicles.

Re: Rear air bags for towing a trailer
sdaily... I'm not sure of suspension differences but my '08 tows our 20' tube steel deck trailer without much squat.
Have you considered just running load leveling bars? It takes a different receiver and then the bars attach at the receiver and points on the trailer.
