Biggest Tires
What are the biggest tires I would be able to put on a 73-87 chev 4x4 with a 6" lift, that will be good offroad without rubbing? I was looking at either a 6" or a 8" for a truck I might be buying.

I would say 35's or 36's. The width is what gets ya in the front.

I have a 6" with 35's on my K5. I had a '72 K5 with 4" lift and 35's but never did any serious off-roading to tell if it rubbed. I think PONT has 8" with 36's on his rig. If you have 1/2 ton axels, you probably won't wont to go over 36's anyway. I
