I have a 1962 and the po has super glued the the needle and i have no speedo. I cannot find a factory replacement. Has anyone mounted another style newer speedo behind factory gauge? Details please. Or know where i can find a new one? Mine looks like this.

Re: Speedometer Question
Well crossland, If you can find a speedo in a wreckin yard that came out of any gm car from the era that has a 180 degree sweep with a 100 mph max, chances are that it's the same mechanism and will interchange.
You may have to use your needle.

Re: Speedometer Question
That speedo is pretty common. Also, I believe Bowtie bits has a completely refurbished unit without the tach for about $450 with exchange.
I saw one in a wrecking yard here in Fresno. They are out there... Tom
