ifs decision

Buying a mustang 11 ifs for my 53 1/2 ton long bed is there a big difference between coil over shock where you can tweek height with adjustment and shock through coil where height is set by crossmember height

Yes there is a difference between a generic mustang II ifs with a coil-spring and shock and a coil-over ifs.

1.With the coil-over you will have the benefit to adjust the rebound on the shock and you can adjust the spring tension.With correct stroke in your shock and the correct spring rate.Your coil-over ifs will ride alot smoother over your coil-spring.

One this to remember when it is set up correctly it will ride BETTER.
