Very nice Chevrolet tailgate band (wide) $150 plus shipping
I had this tailgate band in my storage unit for my '86 I sold last year. It's the older style letters though from an earlier truck ('74 if I remember right). Anyway, all clips and screws are in great shape and only 1 VERY small ding on the lower left side. I was going to use the heat/dry ice trick to pull out the ding and polish it (the ding is the small red arrow on two pictures). You could do the same, or use a scotch pad to refinish it that way if you want, or just use it the way it is... The factory finish is still VERY nice on this but it is not all out perfect for the picky person. I would consider this a 8 or 9 out of 10 and I've seen worse sell for nearly twice as much. Is the ding the only real damage. Is the finish even or are there dull spots or missing coating? How is the finish on the Chevrolet emblem?

The black needs to be repainted on the letters. The finish is not spotty like on so many I've seen.

I don't know if I just never noticed the other slight dings (very very shallow) or if I mishandled them sometime this week before I was getting ready to ship. In the interest of full disclosure, I've refunded your payment and you can resubmit it at the new price I mentioned in the email, or I can relist it here at a new lower price. It is still a very very nice band.

I looked at the two pics you sent. I can't see any other damage. Where is it and how does compare to the other ding. How many dings? I will probably take it anyway.

They're very tough to photograph. The dings are quite small, but they are there at the right angle. 3 shallow ones a little bit to the right of the other one. A couple light scratches here and ther but they are very very light. I'll give you until the end of Monday to decide if you need time.
