WTB: Tow Hooks
Hey, I'm looking for the "extreme bend" tow hooks that would be factory correct for a 72' model. Reply here or send me a PM if you know of any for sale. Thanks!

Re: WTB: Tow Hooks
I have one last spare set of 72-only hooks that I'm going to hold on to for now. Good luck with the search. Pete

Re: WTB: Tow Hooks
Are you on Facebook? I do not know this guy but I seen a pair for sale in the "67-72 swap&sell Chevy & Gmc trucks & parts" group. David Wood has them listed with a pair of Blazer bucket seats.

I guess the price of gold is going up, so for what it's worth here is a set.

Re: WTB: Tow Hooks
Hi Jeff, sorry about the unanswered pm's and delayed reply back, haven't been on the board since December. Try to never be out of factory hooks and do still have the nice 72 set we were dealing on that were pictured on the burgundy 72 K/20, although it looks like you found yourself a set right? You happy with the condition of the found set, were they a pretty good pair, did you end up trading parts or greenbacks for them? Mel

At a Smithsonian Society luncheon I attended we discussed, over vintage wine, select cheeses, and crackers made of the finest grains, the virtues of various finishes on '72 tow hooks and the consensus was powder coating serves more to add no measurable value to the most knowledgeable. It seems the purveyors of the higher degree prefer finding these in their raw beauty and having the option of powder coating left themselves.

Re: WTB: Tow Hooks
Wynne, am not sure that you are understanding things here, everything was 100% out in the open for all to see in 1972K20's original WTT tilt steering column for 72 tow hooks thread. Was not trying to slip anything by you guys as every single detail was laid out in the thread along with several pictures, the deal was placed on hold till he sold said part and in the meantime several of 1972K20's pm's went unanswered due to myself not being on the board since Dec. and there were never any secret pm's on our end. As a side note, am I correct in thinking that per the board rules since he was the paying member who originally placed the WTB/WTT thread that he is able to pm about any questions/details that he may have, correct or do I have that all wrong? Thanks in advance for the reply, Mel.
