Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
I have looked at those as well. I like them. Do a search, there is a K5 our style with them installed. They look as close to the original that I have found for aftermarket. My seats are trash and these Procar may be the way I go too.

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
I'm planning on purchasing the same seats. I first saw them installed and BIgbad72's rig. I think they look close to stock and alooooooot less expensive that originals. In this thread you can check them out mounted , they look really nice.

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
I purchased these seats from amazon for 242.00 a piece. Pretty reasonable considering how much It costs to get stuff reupholstered. You also have to purchase seat adapters but im pretty sure if you have some scrap metal and a little talent you could make your own. All the parts have come in so I will be putting the seats in this coming weekend.
Here is a link to amazon with the seats. http://www.amazon.com/ProCar-Scat-80-1400-51R-LOWB... |

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
They look pretty nice. If they have the steel inserts On the bottom you could drill pilot holes and reuse your stock brackets maybe. I'll watch to see how this turns out. Mine are garbage and mismatched.

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
I was thinking about getting a pair of these too. The seat adapter brackets are about $86 each, from summit racing and year one. I was thinking about ordering one bracket to get all the measurements to fab it up then ship it back for a return. I mean $86 for a little seat bracket!

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
There is a blazer on this forum that has the seats I am putting in. He used the factory brackets some how. It probably wouldn't be that difficult but I have no welding tools to fab something up if I had to. That's why I went with the procar brackets.

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
Ok guys I finally got the Procar seats installed in the blazer. They are very comfortable and very easy to put in with the bracket i had to buy from procar. The only issue is the brackets are very tall putting the seats up very high. The ability to recline and slide the seats back is an awesome with these seats. If i had a welder and some skill i would definitely use the stock brackets which i do have. Or I would cut down the procar brackets and install them that way. They look great in the blazer . Oh while i had the seats out i decided to put in some new carpet as well. Hope i helped someone with their decision. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. Below are the pics.

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
How close to the factory bolt holes were the ones in the procar brackets ? It also looks like you only got 3 bolts in the pass side ?

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
I know the front was dead on with the factory bolt holes. Not sure about the back. Yeah I only got 3 holes in cause the back side is rusted pretty bad. That's something I need to address at a later time. For right now 3 will work.

Re: Front Bucket Seats from Procar
Jimmy is coming along slowly but surely. Should have back from painter in a couple weeks. Then the fun part of reassembly. Can't wait. I text you some pics when it's done.
Thanks
