How much narrower is a 67 rear end ?
I always knew 67 rear ends were narrower but ive never sat down and measured to see how much ? Just curious ,

They are about 1 and 1/2" narrower than the 71-72 rears.

Question, I have a 68 that was converted to 5 lug. Don't know if the did it on the 68 housing or later. What are the measurements for the 68 & 71-72 ? I have found the that I have a 81-84 engine, tilt column & maybe tranny. Don't know about rear end. Think PO might have used a donor truck.
