Gearbox and transfer cases

Did all the 70-72 K10 series 4x4s use the same 4 speed manual transmission? How about the transfer cases?

Thank you for posting where you moved this to. I know some posts need moved it is just hard to find where they are moved to sometimes, so in the future when the moderators move a thread it would be great if they all said where it was moved to.

my 1970 Blazer came with a Dana 20 gear box. My 1971 K20 has a NP205. If that helps??

Sm420 and sm465 trannys and np203 and np205 tcases

I believe that all 70-72 4wd trucks came with either a sm465 + np205 or th350 + np205.

The th350 is a 3spd auto he's asking about 4 speed bull low manual transmissions

I agree with Argonaut, 'those years would have had the SM465 and NP205 case.
