What are these?

Found these items in a box in the back of the truck under a blanket.

The bottom right item has the following numbers stamped around the shaft:

3884936 1 69 14:43 GM

The top right item has the following numbers stamped into the top of it:

168 3880042-12-37-GM

The top left item is ~ 8" in diameter and the bottom left is ~9" in diameter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: What are these?

They are ring and pinion gears for rear ends. The one stamped 14-43 is 3.07 gear ratio but I'm not sure what is it for.

The one stamped 3880042 and 12-37 is 3.08 gear ratio for a 8.2" Chevy car rearend. Like a Camaro or Chevelle.

Re: What are these?

Ring gear and pinion gear. If someone else knows the number breakdown that should tell what there out of and the ratio.

Re: What are these?

After a little searching, it seems the 3884936 gear is for a 71 - 72 12 bolt truck rearend, like your truck has.
