truck intake cleaning

I'm collecting parts for my swap, and the truck intake I got has been on a shelf in a mechanics shop for awhile, and its nasty. The inside is coated with a thick layer of oil and dirt. Any suggestions how to clean out the internals? Does it come apart? Or I was thinking I could soak it in a bucket of some kind of cleaner.

Re: truck intake cleaning

Soak it in a bucket of warm water with some purple power degreaser. Then take it to a car wash and blast it good. Should get it nice and clean.
