C20 17.5" rims
1966 C20 Camper Special rims. 8 lug. 17.5x6. Set of 5. Good condition overall. Straight and balanced. Need to a few hub cap spring clips and fresh paint. Currently with excellent 8R 17.5 Bridgestone tires. I don't need them but they are too rare to scrap. Have been in corner of my garage since 2007. In constant use prior to that. With or without the tires.
Must have for C20 or K20 restoration. Photos on request. Respond to ron@lumenak.com |

Re: C20 17.5" rims Photos
Had dog dish hubcaps. I believe some caps had the centers cut out to clear the hubs. Skinny tires by today's standards. Have seen photos of 4x4s with military style tire tread. Should go to a serious restorer. Mine's a driver with an updated power train.

Re: C20 17.5" rims
Also interested if 60-66 backs out. These would go good on my 64 k20, to replace the ugly wagon wheels put on by the po.

Re: C20 17.5" rims
That actually works pretty well. I would like the wheels, I can get new tires locally. What is total cost including shipping for wheels to Nicholasville Ky 40356? Thank you,

Re: C20 17.5" rims
B SHarp
The quote to ship to KY is high, probably more than the rims are worth. Lynden Transport wants $305 for rims alone. |

Re: C20 17.5" rims
Well, at 305 for shipping I will have to pass to the next guy in line. I wish you were closer. I could really use these wheels on my '64 K20. I hate the wagon wheels on it right now. Thanks for checking.

Re: C20 17.5" rims
I'm going to remove the tires. I want the rims to go to someone who needs them for a restoration project. They are pretty rare. Not interested in a trade.
I will give the rims to anyone who is willing to pay the shipping. You may do better than the shipping quote I got from Lynden Transport. Free rims for a worthy project. All five or none. |

Re: C20 17.5" rims
Possibly interested. Anybody know what one of these bare wheels weighs (for shipping calculations)?

Re: C20 17.5" rims
On the box.... Thought id try a local tire deal who sells a lot of rims. Your shipper may be the best source on whether or not a box is required. Ak zip is 99501

Re: C20 17.5" rims
Umm, I might be able to beat the original price quote for shipping through my company. I am checking now to see what it would cost if you dropped them off at a shipper like fed-ex or UPS. I'll keep you posted.

OK Looks like there are no takers. Going to give this a few days then remove the post and make other plans.

Re: C20 17.5" rims
Man, I'm sorry ... sleepin' at the wheel again. I inquired about a possible price break through my work and was awaiting a response, then forgot. This time I'll chase down an answer. Did you find boxes? If so I'll need HxWxD.

Re: C20 17.5" rims
No worries, oem4me
Haven't pursued boxes yet. If boxes are required, assume 19x19x10. That should be plenty. I'll make them if I have to. Raw wheel weight is 29.2 lbs. |

Re: C20 17.5" rims
Sorry, I too checked on shipping and just do not have the extra funds to have them shipped. I would love to have them for my '64 but again, can't swing the extra funds right now. Thanks for the generous offer to pass them on. It seems everything I need for my truck in on the opposite side of the US from where I need it. Maybe I should just fly to Cali or Texas and buy a truck and drive it home, LOL...
