PCV/Breather Element questions
Hey guys! Been a while since I've posted, haven't needed to be under the hood much this winter (thankfully!) But, it's warming up and I'm sure I'm not the only one out there itchin' to get their spring tune up in!
I was going to restore my PCV system on my 250 I6 when I ran into some snags the only part my o'reillys seems to carry is the PCV valve itself, and no other components to the system: Grommets are shot.. Don't know where to get replacements, my o'reillys doesn't carry the ones I need, they ones they looked up in their computer didn't look right. Where can I get a grommet set that has all of the valve cover grommets that I know for a fact are the right ones for the truck? Or will just any grommet that fits in the hole work? Also, they have a replacement breather element, but they don't have any of the other fixtures.. such as I need to replace the elbow the feeds from the valve cover into the breather element, which is located inside my original air filter housing, but no one carries such a thing or even seems to know what that is.. I tried to use a piece of heater hose a long time ago to replace the breather element 'elbow' but it's not a proper piece, the non-pre-bent hose that i am using bent in place is putting stress on the grommets, which caused the original rotten rubber to crap out on me. What I need: a good place to find the grommets that I need, and this mystical 'breather elbow' Can post pictures in a day or two so that you can gain a better point of reference.. Thank you for your help! Also, seen these chrome valve covers and pushrod cover sets on ebay for $40, are they junk?

Re: PCV/Breather Element questions
I was able to get the preformed PCV hose at my local NAPA, for the side of the PCV system the feeds into the base of the carb. But they didn't have the preformed hose for the other side of the system that brings in filtered air from the spacer that sits between the carb and air cleaner. The guy at the counter told me to come back as those hoses do come in from time to time. I have yet to try and buy all of the gromets yet though, so i cant really help you there.

Re: PCV/Breather Element questions
Got my grommets from Advanced right by the oil filters. Had to try one or two but they were labeled for GM use. Dorman brand I believe.
