Question Lokar competitor in 64?

Hey all, I did a bunch of searching and can't find what I'm looking for.

Does anybody have a few pictures of a lokar competitor throttle pedal mounted in a 60-66 (64 in particular) truck? I didn't like the floor mount pedal and don't mind doing some minor fabricating to mount it to the firewall but would like to see what others have done. I found a thread about a 70ish throttle pedal swap that looks like a similar mounting base but my firewall seems like it angles out over the bell housing too close to the brake to have any room to mount it flat. Anything at all would be much appreciated.

Thanks man, did it bolt up pretty much where the stock pivot part was mounted or did you just drill two holes where it looked good?

Drilled three holes actually. If you look at my build thread you can see more pictures. Link is in my signature. Edit. Look at page 2.

That is exactly the picture I was looking for. Is your spacer just a flat piece of steel or is it ground down on one side to match the angle of the firewall?

Flat piece of steel ground diagonally on one side so it would match. Instead of spending a gold nugget(literally) on a 1 inch spacer I made one.
