Interesting truck on Craigslist

Found this one today on Craigslist, 1972 Cheyenne Super...black with blue interior. It's a pretty rare combo if its real..wish he would have posted a pic of the SPID. I believe that is the wrong seat tho for a Cheyenne Super??

Re: Interesting truck on Craigslist

I've had a '70 C-10 and a '78 GMC with the blue on black factory combo, so it is definitely possible that it is factory. Both of mine were documented on the SPID.

Its still not as bad as the SPID documented beauty!

It has a correct houndstooth (custom cloth trim on the SPID) installed. It's shredded, but that's the correct cover in the pics.

Save the pic to your computer, then click "browse" and search for it, then click "upload" - gotta do it one at a time. Welcome to the site!

*snipped pic of medium bronze truck with olive interior*

Hey now... that was my truck, I took that picture when I sold the truck about 3 years ago. What are you trying to say?

BTW, if anybody falls in love with that *cough* beautiful *cough* color combination, I just ran across the truck for sale again, back east somewhere. Still using my pictures, except it looks like they recovered the seat and took fresh interior pics. I can't remember what I sold it for, but I think $4500-$5500 (it has some rust they aren't mentioning in their ad). Must be an expensive seat cover

Re: Interesting truck on Craigslist

^^^ I bet that's the classic car dealer there. I wonder how he sells anything with the prices he asks. I guess there are always fools with more money than brains.

Re: Interesting truck on Craigslist

First off, I like both those color combos posted. I like the unusual ones where you get to see peoples different and interesting option choices.

...and SpecialK...I would gladly trade some brains for money unfortunately I'm low on both. However, I would snatch that truck up in a second blk/blu. Its really rusty and not so straight as I like em but I think it deserves to be restored and would look really nice once all sorted out.

Only thing I think would make it better is if it was a K20 and had marker lights and the pushed out chrome winch bumper one could get for trucks in 72...

cheers

Re: Interesting truck on Craigslist

This one has been on Craigslist for a couple weeks and is a few minutes from me. Looks like a very nice truck with the same black with blue interior. No idea if its original, but I thought I would share. Oh and its not mine BTW

Re: Interesting truck on Craigslist

^^^ These arrows indicate my post is referring to your post just above*,same as my prior post was referring to the post just above it. That bronze w/olive interior truck must now be for sale by the classic car dealer that's in Purcellville,VA near me. His prices would raise most everyone on this site's eyebrows

* Ok,second post above now (Spartan's). Guess I took too long to type
