frame setup for 1950

I have the original frame with mustang 2 front. Now I have put the cab on the frame with a 4 foot level on the running boards level the frame front to rear and side to side with Jack stands. Going to put a 1999 suburban vortec 5.7 with 4l80e trans in set it in the frame had to cut the toe board a little to put it in and set the zero degree at intake the crank pulleys is a 1/2" from frame cross menber and trans tail is about 2" from under the cab with yoke in the end of trans is this about right. Need advice before I weld and set the trans cross member the engine motor mount is just above the mustang 2 output for the steering shaft to the column.
