Yeah.......for the Turn signal swith behind steering wheel. The plastic piece the actual signal handle connects to. I traced this to be the culperit(sp) of my no start problems. Sometime I have to turn the key with the signal on to start the truck.

This is the number on my receipt from my local Chevy dealer:
0001972751. Hope this helps!. I refused to believe this switch could cause so many probs. Best thing I ever replaced to avoid all the headaches I was having.

I can not see how the turn signal switch would keep it from starting.

If you are talking about the actual part that the turn signal lever is attached to, the one that went in my 69 GMC with non tilt(if that matters) was 1894852.

Well me either. BUT, I think it has something to do with shorting out the columgear shift area to where it thinks it's in "Drive" position instead of "Park". I always hear a electric ticking in that area while I am driving. Like something is contacting something else. I think it's interfearing with the gear shift position.
