air pressure and installed height for dominator 2600 bags

I am getting ready to begin building a 4 link on my 85 c10. The one thing I have not figured out just yet is what air pressure I shiuld be looking to run and what the installed height will or might be so I have a starting point for welding the brackets. I chose a set of 2600 dominator bags with hopes of decent ride quality and the ability to level the truck with a load. I plan to just use schrader valves one on the rear and one for the front. I dont need anything fancy just want reliable.

This is my first rodeo dealing with air bags so any insight or suggestions are much appreciated!

depends on how stiff you want the ride.. also one valve per bag.

I want the ride smooth nothing real stiff or bouncy.

And your saying its better to put a valve on each bag? Why not tie both rears together so it keeps it even side to side?

Sorry if these questions seem stupid I just have no experience with air bags and want it right the first time.

Also if it helps I am planning the install the bags on the top of the axle outside the frame rail and plan the lower bars to be at least 30" long.

I am not expert. But I have 2 bags in the rear tied together thanks to the previous owner.

I can tell you they act a little strange going around corners sometimes. One bag is compressed more on the outside of the turn and raises the pressure on the inside bag which is allowed to expand. It can cause strange reactions. I have never had anything really crazy happen so I wouldnt be totally against doing it this way again. Only as long as it was bags in the back for load leveling with coil springs up front.

If it were ever to be bags all the way around, I would only do them valved individually to avoid that reaction I mentioned above. I am converting to bags in front at some point as well. When that happens I will replumb everything to be valved individually.

Each bag should have it own valving to share air is asking for trouble in a corner

Gotcha I diddent think about pressure transferring side to side.

Any suggestions on what air pressure I should aim for as a starting point?
