1973 to 87 c10 lower grill panels
I have a 76 c-10 that needs a lower grill panel. I found one in a yard on a 74' gmc truck with what appears to be a 79' front end. (the headlight bezels are 1-piece made into the parking lamps with torx screws)
It is hard to see because of the headlight bezels and lower stainless cover that goes around the lower grill panel. Is this 79' lower panel the same as my 76? I really wanna use a G.M. part when possible. Thanks. |

If the lower is a 79, it is different then your 76. If your looking to use your 76 bezels then you should keep looking. Hope this helps.

Here are some pics from the yard. I was under the impression that it "may" be the same lower panel behinf the stainless cover?

So the 79 trim piece is removable?

good point, I saw where it had threads coming from behind the lower panel but didn't see how to remove it???
