Best Wife Ever!
As the title says, I have the best wife ever! Today she told me that she was going to do some shopping and she needed to use my truck to go pick up a treadmill as well. Well around 9pm I hear the truck pull in the drive so I went out to help her unload. I walked out the door and her Dad is in my truck with a trailer in tow. Since my Birthday is thursday she bought me this! Best April fools joke I have ever had pulled on me!

Re: Best Wife Ever!
And here I thought I had the best wife ever! If you happen to know her, tell her I said so!
Looks like you've got a good starting point there, and a good woman there to motivate you. The April fools joke is probably that its not yours, but hers! |

Re: Best Wife Ever!
Wow, you do have a good wife.
It was a stretch when my wife let me buy my 54. At least mine was all there. LOL. Her attitude now is, "I'm not working to support that truck!" Chris |

Re: Best Wife Ever!
Cool, that looks like the makings of a nice truck.
My wife buys me stuff all the time. Sometimes she even knows when she bought it and d others I just tell her that she got that for me for my birthday or some other occasion. OBTW, what's the master plan for the new to you project?

As for the drivetrain I have a 5.3/4l60 pulled from a 99 Silverado that will get dropped in. For the rear end there is a 9" sitting in the barn with 3:1 gears that will make this a awesome cruiser. I do not run rims under 20" on any of my trucks so a set of Dodge spares with original hubcaps will fit the bill quite nicely.

Re: Best Wife Ever!
Congrats!
Do you buy adapters to use the Dodge spares or what?

This was all done on April fools day. My wife said she needed my truck to get a treadmill and came home with a truck.
