Re: WTB 15x8 dog dish wheels

Good news...
My parents live in Marion and a brother lives in Elwood and could bring you a set of these from me here in Kansas for free shipping.
They are driving for my daughters graduation party.
3 of the wheels are good to go and 1 has a dent on the lip that can be fixed.
I can load pics tomorrow. I'll take $350 for the set.

Re: WTB 15x8 dog dish wheels

Here are a few pics. I need to check the 4th wheel to see if its a 3-4 nub. Currently these pictured are 2-3 nub and 2-4 nub. If your wanting all 4 nub, I may have to check something with a friend.

The 1/2 ton dog dish hub caps will work with both 3 or 4 nub wheels won't they? That is the difference between the nubs?

Sorry I missed this post Campbel45.
THe caps are indifferent.
The differences are...
4 nub wheels will clear the disc brake front rotors and the 3 nubs only fit drum wheels.
Theoretically you only need 2 if you have a 71-2 truck but you would not be able to rotate front to back with your wheels. If you dont have a disc break front end then you are good to go!
I hope that helped you.

Re: WTB 15x8 dog dish wheels

That did help. I did not know all of that thank you very much! I will need all four wheels to be a 4 nub wheel as I may be going with a rear disc brake set up as well.

Would you be able to get all four in a 4 nub?

Your Welcome,
Its not currently looking like it. I was going to trade for some but that didnt work out. Im not sure if they will or wont clear the add on rear disc setups. I think they are smaller than the factory front ones. You may need to research that a little further as I dont know that answer.

Yes. $100 a piece plus shipping typically $25-27 a piece. I would do $250 shipped.

Thanks PT.
I have only found 6 5-lug 15x8's total, since I've been parting trucks. I have 2 going on my truck and saving the other 4. That is only 18 -20 trucks though. Others have done many more and may have a better barometer.
Where's Randy on this question?

Mike

I think the offsets are different from 3-4 nub.

6 lug seem to be alot easier to find than the 5 lugs around here. And 6 lug aren't easy to find.

So just to clarify. 3 nub six lug 15x8 wheels. Will hold a dogdish but can ONLY be used on drums correct?

Thanks PT.
They came on some second generation 2wd Blazers. Very difficult to find. I would just buy some from Wheel Vintiques.

Correct on all parts. That goes for all 5 and 6 lug 15x8s.

I would be interested in the 4 nub wheels if they are still available. I live next to Marion in Fairmount..

Re: WTB 15x8 dog dish wheels

If you look at the 3 nub and 4 nub wheels,... The step in the rim is in a different location.
It's best to get all 4 the same if you want them to match.

Re: WTB 15x8 dog dish wheels

I know this an older thread but i have a question and im interested in a pair of 3 nubbers. Which have a deeper dish? The 3 nubs or 4 nubs. Or is the backspace the same on both styles?
