What's it worth?

I found a 1977 1/2 ton frame not to far from my home for $150.00. Includes almost new steering box. Worth it or not?
Forgot to mention. SWB 2wd

Re: What's it worth?

Kinda depends on if you need a 2wd 1/2 ton short frame or any of the parts that might still be on it?

Re: What's it worth?

It sounds like it's just the frame and steering box, but I won't know until I get to look at it.

Re: What's it worth?

New box itself is 100. I'd do it as long as no frame cracking or rust holes

Re: What's it worth?

Sounds like a Steel to me (pun intended). I know I would be all over it for that price, as long as it didn't have any serious cracks. Make sure to check near the steering box, and the rear of the frame rails if a hitch was ever installed.
