Reclining/folding bench seats...?

Hi,
I recently bought a 1970 CST/10. I love the Black on green interior! I an inclined to thing that the bench seat may have been changed, however. I found a build sheet that doesn't exactly match in the springs (behind the seat). And, it does not fold. Didn't all of the benches fold? I even see a spring with a retainer on the back wall near the gas tank that looks like it may have been a keeper for the seat........ Anyone know?

Thanks
brian

My '70 C10, a bare bones truck, has a non-folding seat, and it's original. Could be you got a different seat than what came with it. The original seat coverings don't seem to be up to years of abuse.

Yeah, mine oddly enough has the CST scroll pater on the vinyl seat, but could have easily come off another C10. Do you happen to have the spring and retainer beside the gas tank I mentioned?

Thanks!

Is this the spring you are talking about. They hold the jack and jack handle.

Re: Reclining/folding bench seats...?

I think 67-68 were the only folding seats.
