1983 Sierra Classic. Gloss grey inner fenders, core support, motor stands, and trans crossmember. I'm used to seeing eggshell black. This looks like original paint to me. Is it a squarebody thing? GMC?

I had an 82 GMC C15 that had a grey radiator support. It was built it Cali. Can't remember if the inners were grey or not, those are long gone.

I think I remember seeing another member that had gray inner fenders but I don't recall what year his truck was.

I seem to recall that there was some plant-to-plant variation, depending on the paint processes they had in place.

Most plants (Flint, Oshawa, Pontiac East, Fort Wayne) were most certainly eggshell black. Janesville and Fremont may have been gray; I don't remember what St Louis was.

My 83 has gray factory paint. You can see some markings in yellow indicating date of manufacture on the core support.

I picked up another truck with grey core support and inner fenders. CA truck and coincidentally the same color and year as the first one.
