? About Sport Mirrors
Anyone had good luck finding a reproduction passenger side sport mirror that will adjust far enough to the left that you can use it ? I just installed a new one on my passenger door and it will not adjust so the driver can actually see anything .I bought some before that were fine .

Re: ? About Sport Mirrors
Have you installed them yet ,can you see from the passenger side mirror if you have ? I ordered a new one from SOKY and it is useless for the driver but great for the passenger to see out of .

Hey Flashed,
I'm in the same situation as you. I Installed a reproduction mirror in the factory location and can't see anything! I'm pissed! The same thing happened to me on a old Ford Falcon I restored, ended up using the original because the repo wouldn't adjust far enough. Should have known better. If someone knows of a repo that you can actually use, PLEASE POST IT!!! |

Re: ? About Sport Mirrors
Is the issue you can't adjust it enough to see the rear fender?

Re: ? About Sport Mirrors
If you can see your quarter panel, or close to it while seated your blind spots are not covered. To adjust to get the blind spots covered, Sit in driver’s seat lean your head until it just touches window, adjust mirror until you can just see the rear edge of the rear quarter. Then lean inboard about the same amount, should be about centered in the car, and adjust the passenger’s side mirror. When viewing all three mirrors you want the smallest amount of overlap possible. It takes a while to get used to this however your blind spots will be all but eliminated.

Re: ? About Sport Mirrors
Do the reproduction ones GM sold adjust properly? If so,then there will be some reproductions out there that work. Just have to find out who made which ones.
