Weather strip track on inside A pillar 51 AD
Been working on the cab on my 51. I have to weld in new inside kick panels and floor boards on both sides. Are you all installing new weather stripping that slides in the track that surrounds the door on the inside of the cab? Is it needed or what are you all doing when you are replacing the inner kick panel and such? I have a custom firewall and floor. I'm not after factory correct. I've seen builds such as NSane's and it looks to be cut out.
Cheers!

It keeps the outside noise and wind out of the cab. As you know there are vents in the cowl sides and air goes into them and into the hinge pockets. This helps keep the air flow from the hinge pockets from going into the cab.

One of the vendors sell the lower section of track for the windlass so as to not ave to replace around the complete door.
