Buddy bucket info
So in my recent immersion of looking for stuff for my 72 I have stumbled accross the buddy buckets. Exactly what I want!
Now what is the best source for them just getting lucky and finding some? There doesn't seem to be too much to them is there nobody making a re-pop version? Man this site is going to cost me a ton of money |

I don't think '72's came with buddy buckets, I believe they were straight buckets. Keep an eye on the classifieds here, and craigslist -

As Dan says they weren't originally in 72's. But, who cares, they are awesome seats, and they will bolt in. They originally came in 67's and 68's. Watch the classifieds on this board and craigslist. If you get desperate become a subscribing member to this board and post a WTB ad.

Yeah I have found they weren't original for 72s but that seems to be the best direct bolt in option for my truck
Is there no one reproducing these? And what is the going rate for one ready to go with fresh upholstery? |

I actually have buddy buckets in my truck now and was looking at that company, but I don't know the reliability and comfort of the seats they make - what I will probably end up doing is getting the foam contoured and thinned out in my seat, to increase the room, and to make it more comfortable, and at the same time keeping the buddy bucket stock look.
