Cab replacement
Just bought a '69 C-10 for a total rebuild. Typical rust, but has some in the driverside roof. Concerns me enough to start searching for a replacement cab without roof issues. What are the differences in 67-72 Cabs? Do I need to replace with only a '69 cab or can I open the search up for other years? Please let me know.

Re: Cab replacement
Someone with a little more knowledge may have more ingot but as far as I know the only difference would be some 67s with a small back window

Re: Cab replacement
You won't need a new cab, it's not too difficult to replace the roof panels. It's time consuming maybe two days of work. I just replaced my inner roof with a headliner optioned inner and I'm waiting to put the outer roof on after I get the roof frame rails sandblasted.

Re: Cab replacement
Here is the " new " inner roof panel installed. It's a lot easier if you have a spot welder to reinstall it. Not the best picture, but I'm real happy with the results.
