Curious about linkage
OK, first off, my truck is in the shop, I'm just trying to get an idea of what they're going to face...
My '71 currently has a TH350 with a B&M floor shifter, and we're swapping in the LS1/4L60 out of my '98 Trans Am. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done the TH350 to 4L60 swap, what kind of linkage modifications are needed for the shifter? Should there be any issues, or should I just be looking for a new shifter assembly? |

Re: Curious about linkage
how does that shifter behave or work with the 4 speed vs the original 3 speed?
Like David said I also just used my original linkage from my TH 400 and used my standard column shifter but that may not be the case with an aftermarket shifter?
