Headlight Bezel Question
Ok, so I bought some headlight bezels for my 1971 Chevy truck. However, my truck actually had a 67/68 front grill swapped on at one point. I thought the bezels were all the same, but they seem way to small. I looked them up on LMC and they have a different P/N for 67/68 vs 69-72. Is that correct? And by the way, I am just making this grille work until I can find the correct one. Thanks.

Re: Headlight Bezel Question
67-68 are definitely different.
Got any pics of your truck?

Re: Headlight Bezel Question
Here's some of it. It's a project truck. 400/turbo 400. Was originally a manual. Will be converted back someday.I installed the bezels, but as you can see they do not look right at all.

Re: Headlight Bezel Question
Looks like you have the 68 fenders with a 69 and newer hood. The 67-68 grill would use the 67-68 bezels. 69-70 bezels were black steel and 71-72 would be bright aluminum.

Re: Headlight Bezel Question
The hood will never work, so toss that, you need a slant nose for that grill or the Gmc grill.
Fenders will work with the GMC grill, not sure of the rad support though. You will obviously need headlight buckets to go 4-eye including the appropriate bezels and GMC grill mounts. This shouldn't be a major change, and as the chev grill is real popular for customizing, it should sell quickly. The slant nose GMC hood will be the toughest part. These hoods are also the most popular, as they have less holes to fill for customs. Good luck and enjoy. P.S. The seats look great. If you don't mind the question, was the install difficult?
