Lowering Block & U bolt Question.....

I will be bagging my 70 C10 soon, and have a question about an existing lowering block and U bolt that are on the truck right now. Because I will have bags in the rear the U bolt that you see in the pic might be too long to reuse.. is that correct? And if so, will I need to get one closer to what was there originally. I should also mention, I will be putting a C-notch in it also. And If I decide to use the blocks will the bring it further to the ground, or is that too much? Any info. would be greatly appreciated.. Here are a few pics....

Re: Lowering Block & U bolt Question.....

Just leave them in. When you get the bags in look at the pinion angle and if it ends up being a little low have the 3 or 4 degrees cut off the top of the blocks.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
