Vent windows

How do you get the side vent windows out? Must you remove the main window glass first?

Also - any way to get the rear window out without cutting the gasket?

Thanks for the reply. Apparently I don't have to pull the window glass first - but the vent is still a bugger to get out! I'll keep trying.
