Hotchkiss lowering springs.
I bought Hotchkiss's 4"/6" lowering springs, The fronts don't seat into the frame properly. Any one else experience this ?

Wow, this was a while ago. turns out the previous owner heated the springs to lower the truck. In doing so it distorted the seat area, not beyond repair but enough to not let the spring seat. I have not repaired and re installed them yet due to finding the bell housing on my trans cracked 3/4 of the way around. So that put everything else on hold. Plus the heat here kind of kills your drive to work in the garage on anything that is not a necessity. Cool weather is coming so that will change soon. So an update will be coming soon.

Are the hotchkis springs worth double the cost of the other manufactures springs in your opinion?

I went to a Good Guys autocross event earlier this year and watched and talked to a few people. You can't argue with success. My long term plans are doing some auto crossing. I also looked at Eibach but decided to go with Hotchkiss. I plan on using all Hotchkiss for my truck.
