Man,,, that 8 track player is bringing some big numbers. Shame he does not have the correct years on some of the parts.

On a second note, wish I would have known the 8 tracks would one day pull that kind of cash! |

Re: if you have some money to burn on ebay (not mine)
Years ago my buddy worked in the parts department of a local Chevrolet dealership that had been around for a long time and when the factory parts rep would come around and declare a lot of pieces including old radios obsolete and pull them and put them in the dumpster (he had the job of taking them to the dumpster) he would (with is boss's permission) load them up and take them home. They sat on his shelf for close to 20 years until he pulled them out and put them on Ebay for big bux.

Wow $700 for the speed warning meter. I know its original but you can get a complete brand new cluster with gauges for that. Amazing!

Holy cow, did you see the AM/FM stereo is going over $1700. I don't care how rich you are $1700 just to have an origional am/fm radio is a joke.

Re: if you have some money to burn on ebay (not mine)
Man, it makes me sick every time I see how expensive the stock AM/FM radios are...my truck had one but of course the first thing I did at age 16 was rip it out for one with stereo and cassette.
The worst part is that I took the old one apart to see what was inside, it got thrown away when my parents moved several years ago. Oh well... Looks like the fenders and tach are reasonable.

Not sure why people are whining about this guy. He's got a lot of parts you're not going to get elsewhere, and if your truck doesn't warrant spending that kind of money (few really would) no one is forcing you. Adding these options to a truck that didn't have them (without forging a SPID) wouldn't be that smart, but if you had one of these options and needed to replace it, it'd be worth it I suppose. I've got a speed warning unit on a shelf somewhere. Not NOS though...
