Header coatings

Bought a set of used never installed headers. They are not coated. So is there a specific coating I can get at the powder coater that will hold up to the heat. Also If I do the rest of the exhaust in stainless do I still need to have it coated. Does stainless rust. What can I expect to pay at the powder coater.

Be careful with powder coating in that the guy knows what he is doing. They have to get them really clean and put alot of powder on. My first set cost about 175 to have coated and didnt last long at all. This new set was done by a different guy and they seem to be holding up really well and it was only 100 bucks.

i just had mine coated, they told me it was made for headers. its not real smooth like regular powder coating, it has a slight textured finish, almost like a satin look. i did mine in silver thought, that may be different. holding up good so far, cam break in and 1 day at the drags. cost me 80 bucks. Dev.
