After market parts
I am about to start work on my '70 C20 and will need replacement parts. Looking through the catalogs of Brothers, Classic Parts, LMC and others it seems most parts such as latches and other mechanicals look like similar production quality. My question is are many of the parts these companies offer made from a common source so strictly go for pricing differences/specials or do they manufacture what they sell which would have inevitable differences in quality?

Re: After market parts
If you want quality, GMCPaul or Classicheartbeat are the way to go. They sell the best possible parts manufactured for our trucks. If you are concerned about price, all the big name companies sell the same stuff from the lowest priced manufacturer they can find.
