Re: Aluminum overlays
Are you talking about the vent long aluminum piece? Glue it carefully. Be sure to put glue on every bit of it. Center most import. If you don't, hot weather will make it pop off. Backside glue on it will not hold it over a hot summer day. I'll have to take mine off and reglue it. I only used glue on part of it. Now, it bulges out in the middle from both ends. I'll have to carefully remove it entirely without damaging it.

Re: Aluminum overlays
Is the expensive ones that can be bought or the LMC ones. They look good to me.... Another question, did you pull the vent rollers (for the lack of a better word)

Re: Aluminum overlays
Well got mine in today with my dash cap... I must say, I'm impressed with the quality, although I don't see why it would need to be glued. It's pretty thick and comes with screws... But I will read the directions.
The seat belts I got are a different story. They are UGLY

Re: Aluminum overlays
Here are the pics. Sorry took them late a night in my garage. I can more detailed ones if anyone wants day shots. Yes, it's a entire "bracket" that bolts through the dash. If I remember correctly, the "bolts" are plastic studs with a small nut. The chrome piece is glued to the entire bracket. Mine a little unglued when I received. I reglued only the loose part. Little did I know hot days would make the piece warp. Now, the part that was not glued when new is loose. Now I have to remove the entire piece carefully to reglue it. I'm not sure if the part I did glue will come off.

Re: Aluminum overlays
Nope the one I got is the same one JWall has
One thing. With the cap, it has to be mounted to the dash then the cap put on.... It will not fit he other way.... I have been trying to get my dash together today, went and bought speakers at walmart , to big. Went to an audio store, they fit, but one is blown, I hope he lets me return it for another
